Turn up with your 100% game... always...

Last week I was invited to a local nursing home to talk about feet.

It was an event for healthcare professionals.

Nasty pictures were promised (and delivered).

I told a few jokes (some were funny… honest)

They had tea.

And homemade biscuits.

But...

Only four people turned up.

And before you ask, yes, they did know I was coming. 😂

Am I disappointed?

Well, years ago I may have been, and I would have likely attached a meaning to the number in the room and given myself a self-worth score based on that.

Now?

Well, it’s not really an issue.

The thing is, whether there are four, forty or four hundred the attitude should be exactly the same.

Turn up and be present.

Do what you planned to do.

Have fun.

I definitely had fun and I know the 92 year old in the front row did as well...
